These terms apply to your use of My FIRE Number at myfirenumber.app (“the site”). By using the site you agree to them.

1. What the site is

The site offers free calculators and guides that do arithmetic on the retirement figures you enter: FIRE numbers, years to reach them, withdrawal rates and the like.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing on the site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. The results are estimates that depend entirely on the assumptions you type, especially the rate of return, which no one can promise. Markets fall as well as rise. Before acting on any figure, consider getting advice from a licensed adviser who knows your circumstances.

3. Independent

The site is not a bank, broker or adviser, holds no financial licence, and is not linked to or approved by any financial company or regulator.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not try to disrupt, overload or break the site.
• Do not use bots or scrapers to copy the site’s content in bulk.
• Do not present results from the site as advice to others.
• Do not use the site for anything unlawful.

5. Content and ownership

The site’s text, design and code belong to us. Quoting a short passage with a link to the page is welcome.

6. No warranty

The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We try to keep every formula correct and the site available, but we do not promise that it will be error-free or always online.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results, including investment losses.

8. Paid products, payment and refunds

The site sells the FIRE Plan, a report built from the figures you type, unlocked on your device and from your plan link (the thank-you page’s address after payment; Stripe’s receipt does not carry it). You pay on Stripe’s secure page; any sales tax or VAT is shown there before you pay, and Stripe emails the receipt. The plan is arithmetic on your own figures and not financial advice. Refunds: 30 days, no questions asked. Email hello@myfirenumber.app with the receipt and the refund is made to the same card.

9. Advertising

The site shows ads from Google AdSense and one promotion for StudyLah. Advertisers are responsible for their own content. See our privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may change these terms by updating this page and the date at the top. Your continued use of the site means you accept the new terms.
